Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of customer service or sales experience preferred
  • Solid computer navigation skills
  • Must have good negotiation skills and be goal-oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional listening and comprehension skills
  • Professional and courteous
  • Customer-oriented
  • A strong personality is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Must not be on any corrective action or performance plans
  • Must have held your current position for 6+ months
  • Must have relevant industry/program experience

Responsibilities

  • Help customers solve problems they encounter when using the product and/or service.
  • Document call information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Maintain and update customer records to ensure accurate and current information
  • Outgoing calls and occasional e-mail correspondence
  • Recoveries on overdue accounts (soft recoveries)
  • Provide recommendations and guidance in a way that adds value and enhances the overall customer experience
