About The Position

Lightspeed is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative to help sell their golf products. This role is the first point of contact for potential clients with the sales team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by finding relevant leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate has experience in lead generation or selling technology solutions. If you want to advance your sales career, this role is for you!

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Love of golf.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Autonomous, outgoing, resourceful.
  • Good technological proficiency, but able to understand beginners.
  • Great personality and entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technology (software, mobile, or other) is a major asset.
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or other degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional experience in the golf course industry.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry.
  • Proficiency in French, in addition to English.
  • Experience working with a CRM system (HubSpot preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients, primarily by contacting golf course managers by phone and email to introduce our services.
  • Manage a given territory comprising several states/provinces in North America.
  • Build relationships with potential clients through sales efforts and present our services as a solution to simplify their operations.
  • Take responsibility for messages and cadence establishment within the given territory.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement pipeline development strategies, while consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Analyze the performance of prospecting actions and prospect feedback to continuously optimize messages, channels, and communication frequency, and provide insights to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
