Requirements

Prior experience in repossession, collections, auto finance, or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge of repossession laws, compliance standards, and FDCPA guidelines
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management or collections software
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end vehicle repossession process in compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate with repossession agents, lenders, and borrowers to facilitate timely asset recovery
Track and update repossession orders, statuses, and documentation in internal systems
Ensure proper handling of redemption requirements
Liaise with auction houses and storage facilities for vehicle disposition
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on repossession activity and outcomes
Resolve disputes and escalated issues related to collateral recovery professionally and promptly
