About The Position

We are looking for a Reporting & Systems Analyst who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and eager to contribute to building scalable, efficient reporting infrastructure. Reporting to the Reporting & Systems Lead, this role supports the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of RTAL's Planning & Performance reporting systems. The Reporting & Systems Analyst will support the reporting infrastructure across RTAL, helping ensure structure, consistency, and data quality across Business Units and sites. You will assist with system administration tasks, template development, and the automation of recurring processes. This role is instrumental in maintaining data standards and supporting data integrity and governance efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems and data, wants to develop automation skills, and is motivated by driving efficiency improvements. You will support the development of standardized reporting templates, assist with reporting cadence activities, and help build dashboards and presentations that highlight critical performance metrics. The role requires someone who is curious, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning, with a strong foundation in Excel and a desire to grow their capabilities in planning and reporting systems.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, data management, or planning operations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
• Aptitude for learning new systems and technologies quickly
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve data quality issues
• Process-oriented thinking with ability to follow and improve established procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a continuous improvement orientation
• Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken. As a global organisation, this role requires regular collaboration with colleagues, teams and partners outside of Quebec

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with planning and reporting systems such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Workiva, Power BI, or similar platforms is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support the Reporting Infrastructure by assisting with design, build, and maintenance activities to ensure consistency across BUs and sites
• Assist with System Administration – help maintain P&P systems, troubleshoot issues, and support configuration updates
• Maintain data quality by monitoring data integrity, flagging issues, and supporting resolution of data quality problems
• Support Automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and assisting with implementation
• Develop and maintain Standardized reporting templates under the guidance of the Reporting & Systems Lead
• Support Reporting Cadence activities – assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring deadlines are met
• Build and update dashboards and presentation materials that highlight key performance metrics
• Provide user support by assisting business users with planning systems and input processes
• Collaborate with the Analysis Team to ensure data foundations are accurate and timely
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements
• Support liaison activities between P&P/Finance and IT/Systems as required
