About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Reporting Developer with strong SQL expertise for a hybrid contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Initially, the position requires 5 days onsite, with the flexibility to transition to 3 days onsite and 2 days remote once the developer can work independently.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience as a Software Developer (business analyst experience alone is not sufficient).
• Advanced SQL expertise.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Previous experience within a financial institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support reports using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS.
• Read, write, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Quickly learn and become proficient in proprietary SQL-based development tools and processes.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual and automated testing.
