About The Position

This position develops and executes technical requirements and deliverables to build experience in reporting and analysis within a health care organization. The role completes individual projects as directed and collaborates with reporting and analytics team members and external stakeholders to define feasible requirements and deliver products intended to drive change and improve care delivery.

The position works at a technical level across most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of technology for current and future operations. Under the general direction of Senior and Lead team members, and in collaboration with key stakeholders, the role defines scope, timelines, and objectives for reporting and analysis requests based on user needs and applicable business systems or industry requirements. It also serves as an analytical subject matter expert for external stakeholders, communicates objectives and requirements to team members, and helps test, validate, and deploy requests before go-live or distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Computer Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Informatics, or Mathematics.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in at least one computer programming or analytical programming language, such as R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Crystal Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Complete individual reporting and analytics projects as directed.
• Collaborate with reporting and analytics team members and external stakeholders to establish clear, feasible requirements and deliver end products that support improvements in care delivery.
• Participate in developing strategies and creative solutions to improve processes and productivity for the reporting and analytics team, including technical solutions and other business processes.
• Under general direction of Senior and Lead team members, define systems scope, timelines, and objectives for reporting and analysis requests in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Serve as an analytical subject matter expert for external stakeholders and suggest ways to optimize reporting processes based on requested objectives.
• Translate and communicate objectives and requirements to reporting and analytics team members, excluding ad-hoc requests and existing report revisions.
• Collaborate on testing, validating, and deploying requests before go-live or distribution, and advise on revisions where necessary.
