About The Position

This internship focuses on enhancing and streamlining existing reporting processes within the finance department. The intern will audit the monthly finance reporting package, identify opportunities for automation, develop a KPI dashboard, document data lineage, and complete a capstone project involving the redesign of an executive summary template.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with data visualization principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages
• Previous internship experience in a finance or analytics role

Responsibilities

• Enhance and streamline existing reporting processes
• Audit the monthly finance reporting package to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Identify 3-5 manual reports and recommend opportunities for automation or simplification to improve efficiency
• Develop a KPI dashboard for a key functional area to support business insights
• Document data lineage for key management reports
• Complete a capstone project, including redesigning a one-page executive summary template
