About The Position

InterLink Recovery is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Recovery Agent to locate and repossess vehicles, then tow them to the company’s storage facility. The role involves interacting with customers and the public, following applicable laws and client and company policies, documenting vehicle condition, and maintaining safety. Compensation is commission-based, with the opportunity for quarterly bonuses. The posting describes room for growth and career development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong observational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Clean, presentable appearance.
Proven reliability and ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a DOT card; must be at least 23 years old.
Availability to work day, night, or overnight shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience driving box trucks, tow trucks, or other commercial-use trucks.
Repossession, law enforcement, investigative work, or related experience.
Spanish/English bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Identify the locations of vehicles needing repossession.
Follow relevant city and state laws, as well as client and company policies, throughout the repossession process.
Safely and efficiently repossess vehicles and transport them to the designated location.
Document each repossession with photographs and written reports describing vehicle condition and any damage or issues.
Handle potentially difficult or confrontational situations calmly and professionally while representing InterLink Recovery.
Complete paperwork accurately and within the designated timeframe.
Perform and record daily inspections of the assigned company truck.
Prioritize safety at all times.
