About The Position

Quirk Auto Dealers is seeking a full-time Tow Truck Driver for its Quirk Shipyard location in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role involves picking up and delivering vehicles between auctions and dealerships, jump-starting vehicles, using a lockout kit without damaging vehicles, towing disabled vehicles, and operating a wheel lift. The successful candidate will be motivated, professional, courteous, friendly, energetic, attentive to detail, and a strong communicator. The position pays $15.00 per hour plus commission; the salary range is otherwise undisclosed.

Requirements

• Experience is necessary.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• General knowledge of an iPad and DOT logging requirements.
• Professional and courteous driving.
• Strong communication skills.
• Friendly, energetic attitude and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to move equipment, such as arm lifts and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from auctions and dealerships.
