About The Position

Responsible to see that inventory is putaway in an optimized location, replenished appropriately and efficiently, and processed in a timely and safe manner by following established procedures.

Requirements

  • Team Lead experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
  • Basic math skills
  • Must speak, read, write and comprehend English.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a continuing basis
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions & work requirements with little supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with team members.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics operations and customer service, along with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • 2+ years warehouse lead experience required.
  • Experience operating a standup forklift required, Linde preferred.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and process adherence
  • Experience working in a WMS (Warehouse Management System) and operating a scan gun.
  • Ability to effectively coach and lead a team in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with internal business partners
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
  • Process oriented and high attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service internally and maintain strong carrier relations
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to lead and manage others, while promoting a teamwork environment.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Proactive in anticipating and alerting others to problems
  • Takes initiative and needs little direction (Self Motivated)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, highly preferred.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with the Department Manager to review workload, allocation of Team Members, goals and objectives for each shift, and Team Member performance
  • Create, monitor, and take action against key KPI’s and process controls
  • Supports compliance with all SOPs, safety rules, and applicable regulations
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively not only with employees within their department to ensure they remain on task, but also with other departments to help correct process breakdown and ensure quality.
