About The Position

The Repairman I assists with the operation of stone processing plants. The role includes checking conveyors, screens, and crushers; reporting operating problems and oversize stone; starting and shutting down plant equipment as necessary; and performing general cleanup around the plant. The Repairman I makes minor repairs and adjustments, inspects and greases or lubricates plant equipment, and is expected to become proficient in operating the plant. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Awareness of safe work habits around heavy machinery and moving equipment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and climbing, and to work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
• Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting operational needs.
• Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing.
