As a Repair Technician, you will be part of a team located in Columbus, OH. Your role will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and determining appropriate repair methods for power hand tools, addressing damage, wear, or malfunction. You will disassemble, clean, repair or replace parts, and reassemble tools, ensuring proper operation and safety through thorough testing. Adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and tool availability are crucial. You will proactively contribute to continuous improvement by offering suggestions for systems, processes, and policies, and help identify escalating concerns, patterns, or service issues. Demonstrating professionalism and urgency while handling stressful situations, and performing miscellaneous tasks—including projects such as 5S, Kaizen, and other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead—will be part of your responsibilities.
