About The Position

Aerzen USA Corp. is an international manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors and turbo blowers. These high-quality machines are used for air and gas applications across many essential industries, including; Wastewater, Cement, Biogas, Pharmaceutical and Food, among many others. As the Repair Technician, you will disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressors and other Aerzen products, diagnose and recommend action, complete machine repairs, prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (GED) Required.
• Welding Certification (brazing, cutting, welding, plasma)
• Forklift Certification.
• 1- to 3-years’ experience related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.
• Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Usage.
• Ability to use regularly a forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, digital equip., welding equip., hydraulic equip., refurbishing equip., calibrating equip., measuring tools, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage, diagnose cause of damage, identifies root cause of failure and recommend further actions needed for repair.
• Demonstrate and utilize good mechanical skills, an understanding of rotating equipment and knowledge of proper and safe usage of mechanic’s tools and shop equipment.
• Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for a various customer application.
• Able to assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision and quality.
• Performs repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit.
• Performs repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit.
• Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other process documentation to repair per Aerzen standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare a written repair report to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to customer.
