Requirements

  • A High School Diploma (GED) Required.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience, related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.
  • Welding Certification (brazing, cutting, welding, plasma)
  • Forklift Certification
  • Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Usage.
  • Ability to regularly use a forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, digital equipment, welding equipment, hydraulic equipment, refurbishing equipment, calibrating equipment, measuring tools, and pallet jacks.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, who is collaborative, trusting of others, has strong work ethic, and can work well independently or with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% as needed for training and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressors and other Aerzen products, diagnose and recommend action, complete machine repairs, prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.
  • Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage, diagnose cause of damage, identifies root cause of failure and recommend further actions needed for repair.
  • Demonstrate and utilize good mechanical skills, an understanding of rotating equipment and knowledge of proper and safe usage of mechanic’s tools and shop equipment.
  • Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for a various customer application.
  • Able to assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision and quality.
  • Performs repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit.
  • Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other process documentation to repair per Aerzen standards and customer requirements.
  • Prepare a written repair report to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to customer.
