Requirements

• High School Diploma (GED) Required.
• Welding Certification (brazing, cutting, welding, plasma)
• Forklift Certification.
• 1- to 3-years’ experience related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet Usage.
• Ability to use regularly a forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, digital equip., welding equip., hydraulic equip., refurbishing equip., calibrating equip., measuring tools, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressors and other Aerzen products.
• Diagnose and recommend action for equipment.
• Complete machine repairs.
• Prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.
• Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage, diagnose cause of damage, identifies root cause of failure and recommend further actions needed for repair.
• Demonstrate and utilize good mechanical skills, an understanding of rotating equipment and knowledge of proper and safe usage of mechanic’s tools and shop equipment.
• Identify Aerzen products and understand their use for a various customer application.
• Assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision and quality.
• Perform repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit (3S - 240S).
• Perform repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit (HV 10-15).
• Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other process documentation to repair per Aerzen standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare a written repair report to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to customer.
