About The Position
Northwest Roofing, an HCR Group company, is seeking experienced Repair Technicians for its Colorado and Arizona teams. The role installs, services, and performs approved roof repairs, identifies and reports roof-system deficiencies, and responds to emergency repair needs. Technicians must adapt to changing workplaces and weather, complete daily paperwork, travel, maintain their vehicles, and document repairs with detailed photos. Additional duties may be assigned. The job involves outdoor work in hot or cold conditions and requires wearing appropriate protective equipment. Employees work near others and must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, move quickly, and lift up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.
Requirements
- High school education or GED.
- Previous experience in roofing, construction, or related work.
- General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques, and specialties.
- Physical fitness sufficient for quick movement, climbing, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
- Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work.
- Endurance to work for hours in extreme weather conditions, including heat or cold.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Able to climb a ladder safely.
- Able to stand, walk, and climb.
- Able to travel.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Nice To Haves
- Construction safety certification, such as OSHA training.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform approved repairs as requested.
- Help identify, locate, document, and report roof-system deficiencies and issues to a supervisor.
- Make emergency repairs when needed to satisfy customer needs.
- Adapt to changing environments, weather conditions, and workplaces.
- Complete required daily paperwork, including online documents, timesheets, and CRM records.
- Travel as required.
- Maintain the company vehicle regularly.
- Take detailed photos of all repairs using CompanyCam.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
