About The Position

This is a full-time, contract position for a Repair Services Associate on the 2nd shift (3:45 pm - 12:15 AM). The role is onsite in Buffalo Grove and offers a pay rate of $18.50 per hour with weekly pay. The contract is for 6 months with the potential for extension or a permanent role, though this is not guaranteed. The associate will perform repairs on a wide range of printers, including mobile/handheld devices and large-format printers, completing basic service tasks while meeting productivity and quality standards. This involves servicing customer products by reviewing complaints, troubleshooting issues, performing mechanical repairs, conducting inspections, basic hand soldering, cleaning, testing, and final inspections. Accurate documentation of work performed, including symptom codes and reasons for parts replacement, is essential. The role requires adherence to established work instructions, contribution to continuous improvement efforts, and the ability to resolve basic issues of limited complexity under direct supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Adherence to all safety practices and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions and processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly and support solution development.
• Understanding and application of policies and procedures in routine tasks.
• Physical ability to bend, scoop, and stand for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Strong attendance record and positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Worker will be required to comply with and operate in accordance with all applicable client policies, as well as the safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements of the assigned warehouse location.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic service tasks while meeting productivity and quality standards.

• Accurately document work performed, including symptom codes and reasons for parts replacement.
• Follow established work instructions for functional tasks and assignments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including process standardization and documentation updates.
• Resolve basic issues of limited complexity under direct supervision and conduct simple analysis with minimal variables.
