About The Position

API Heat Transfer is looking for individuals who enjoy being part of a transformation. The company has a new mission, new leaders, and is accelerating its path to Lean Cultural Change. The Operations Team is on the way to becoming a Lean Management powerhouse. This role is for someone who likes to fix things and wants to be part of a new API.

Requirements

High School degree or equivalent (required)
2-5 years Machine Repair experience (required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Constant standing/walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and reaching
Ascending/descending ladder, scaffolding, or stairs
Grasping, manipulating, or assembling objects with hands/fingers
Clear vision (near/far/peripheral) and hearing for safety
Must have necessary standard tools
Knowledge of construction and machine design prints
Knowledge of shop mathematics

Responsibilities

Install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain in operating condition various machines and equipment throughout the plant.
Diagnose trouble, determine methods of repair, make installations, plan layout, move and complete work on machines or equipment with minimum of supervision.
Work close tolerances as required and make simple parts if needed.
Perform general maintenance functions as required at the direction of the supervisor.
