About The Position

The Repacker assists with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization. The role evaluates damaged product for disposition, repacks saleable products, records information about repackaged, salvaged, and dumped products, and helps track dated products to minimize losses. The position is based in Boca Raton and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The role may receive overtime compensation. The expected base rate is between $22.42 and $26.54 per hour, depending on relevant experience or education, skills, function, geographic location, and other applicable factors.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Dependability.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience is preferred.
Knowledge of foodservice products and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged product and determine whether it should be repacked for sale, salvaged, or dumped.
Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record appropriate information, such as lot number and date, on repackaged products for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking dated products to minimize losses caused by date issues.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
