About The Position

The Repacker helps reduce inventory shrink and improve warehouse organization by evaluating damaged products and determining whether they should be repacked for sale, salvaged, or discarded. The role records required product information and tracks dated products to minimize losses. The position is based in Boca Raton and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The role may earn overtime compensation. The expected base rate is $22.42 to $26.54 per hour, depending on relevant experience, education, skills, function, location, and other applicable factors.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Dependability.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience.
Knowledge of foodservice products and processes.

Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged product and determine its disposition: repack for sale, salvage, or dump.
Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record required information on repackaged products, including lot number and date, whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking dated products to minimize product loss due to date issues.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
