This position is integrated with the SRO Families United Collaborative (SROFUC), a collaboration of 5 community-based organizations focused on organizing and empowering families living in Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotels to improve their living conditions, access services, and secure decent housing. The role involves working with representatives of these organizations to achieve performance goals, providing monthly guidance, and collecting/reviewing performance data. The position also oversees the Rental Subsidy program, which provides long-term rental subsidies to selected SRO families in San Francisco. The program requires clients to pay at least 30% of their gross income towards rent. This role will supervise, guide, and mentor three subsidy organizers (RSOs) and one project coordinator (PC), who assist clients with income recertifications, landlord communication, and organizing families for events and advocacy.
