As a certified Raymond dealer, we offer new and pre-owned lift trucks and forklifts, parts, storage solutions, integrated systems, fleet management and other services to support our client's operations.  RENTAL SHOP TECHNICIAN – Earth City, MO At Raymond Central, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Rental Shop Technician to support forklift maintenance on our rental and renewed fleet in the Earth City area. This is a full time, hourly position. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height

Nice To Haves

  • Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
  • Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications
  • Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, service and support rental and used equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met.
  • Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility.
  • Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management.
  • Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
  • Work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately.
  • Keep work area clean and safe at all times.
  • Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required.
  • Maintain uniforms to always look neat and professional.
  • Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position.
  • Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.
  • Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
