About The Position

The Boot Fitter fits each customer with an appropriate boot professionally and promptly while providing customer service that exceeds expectations. The role includes applying boot-fitting techniques learned during training, helping customers physically during fittings, maintaining the boot room and rental shop, handling rental forms and deposits, and supporting other operational duties as needed. The position requires working in a busy, team-oriented environment and being available to work holidays and weekends, which may include evenings.

Requirements

• Able to serve high volumes of people in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Able to lift 40 pounds over the head.
• Able to follow directions properly and in a timely manner.
• Available to work holidays and weekends, which may include evenings.
• Able to stand for the entire shift.
• Able to kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide superior guest service.
• Apply boot-fitting techniques learned in training.
• Restock boot room shelves and rotate boots on dryers.
• Return deposits and paperwork when appropriate.
• Complete rental forms accurately and fully.
• Keep the work area in and around the rental shop clean and organized.
• Physically assist customers with boot fitting.
• Perform snow removal.
• Run the Ski Check Station.
• Help in other areas as needed.
