About The Position

This position is responsible for the rental of RPS products and associated products in the RPS service territory and throughout the US. The role involves developing and implementing activities to promote rental sales, maintaining direct sales responsibility for selected accounts including owners, contractors, and engineers, and staying current on product line technology. The representative will also assist the Rental Sales Manager in achieving Company financial goals and sales objectives, keep management informed of sales activities, manage customer invoices and disputes, and maintain sales call reports. Ring Power Corporation, established in 1962, is a full-line Caterpillar dealer that has grown to be one of the largest in the Southeastern United States. Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Rental Sales of gen-sets, pumps, and air compressors.
  • Computer skills required - Lotus Notes, Excel, Word & Power Point.
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or related equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for rental of RPS products and associated products in RPS service territory and throughout the US.
  • Develops plans and implements activities to promote all rental sales for the division.
  • Maintains direct sales responsibility of selected accounts to include owners, contractors, and engineers.
  • Stays current on all technology associated with the product line and attends and participates in all trade show and related activities.
  • Assists the Rental Sales Manager to see that Company financial goals and sales objectives are obtained.
  • Keeps Management informed of all pertinent sales activities.
  • Keeps all customers current on their un-paid invoices and settles all customer disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keeps current on all sales call reports.
