About The Position

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Power Systems Rental Sales Representative. Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join their growing team of established and successful professionals. This position is responsible for renting and selling generators, electrical distribution equipment, battery energy storage, air compressors, desiccant dryers, and temperature control equipment to industrial, contractor, power plants, and oil and gas customers in the Southeast PA territory. The role involves successfully building and maintaining relationships with all appropriate decision makers and influencers, building and maintaining customer metrics in profitability and customer satisfaction, evaluating and aligning customer needs with company offerings, creating and implementing territory business/coverage plans within budgetary constraints, evaluating, preparing, and presenting various product and application presentations, and developing and processing all related sales and product support documentation pricing, including sales reports.

Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Work with CRM tool.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, through CRM tool, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close rental sales.
  • Must be available for after hour calls.
  • Other duties as assigned.
