About The Position

Foley Equipment is seeking a motivated, results-driven Rental Sales Rep to build and maintain customer relationships while expanding market share in an assigned area. The role involves direct customer interaction, identifying customer needs, recommending suitable equipment, and providing attentive service. The ideal candidate is organized, resilient, and proactive, with a strong customer-service orientation and the confidence to cold call on job sites. Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Requirements

Ability to establish rapport with customers and build long-term relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to initiate engaging conversations.
Previous outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to drive and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Previous rental sales experience, especially in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment and different phases of job sites.
Hands-on construction industry experience.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Strategically manage and maximize sales opportunities through direct customer interaction.
Deliver industry-leading customer service to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyze customer needs and provide guidance on equipment selection.
Help customers identify equipment specifications that meet their requirements.
Consult with customers, answer inquiries, and resolve concerns.
Use CRM software to track and nurture customer interactions.
Travel for training and/or to assist at other locations.
