The Rental Manager will oversee all rental and used equipment activities, aiming to maximize financial performance. This role involves ensuring quality shop work and timely shipments to customers, managing the buying and selling of equipment, including transfers between branches, and overseeing inventory, maintenance, and depreciation. The manager is also responsible for scheduling, delivery, and pickup of all equipment, developing sales strategies, coordinating with other departments, and setting pricing for used equipment. Direct contact with current and prospective customers, including performing trade-in evaluations at customer facilities, is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the position includes recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and counseling personnel.
