About The Position
Toyota of Downtown Chicago is seeking a passionate and customer-service-oriented Rental/Loaner Agent/Coordinator to manage their rental/loaner vehicle program. This role ensures a smooth and professional experience for customers utilizing these vehicles. The agent will assist customers, coordinate with the service team, and maintain detailed records to ensure the program runs flawlessly.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive or rental/loaner fleet experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the rental/loaner vehicle fleet and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.
- Greet and assist customers in the rental/loaner process with a positive, professional attitude.
- Coordinate with the service department to meet customer needs and ensure timely return of rental/loaner vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of rental/loaner vehicles, including condition reports, mileage, and contracts.
- Inspect rental/loaner vehicles upon return for any damages or issues.
- Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies regarding rental/loaner vehicles.
