About The Position

Louisiana Cat is seeking a high-energy, ambitious Rental Field Technician to join their growing operations (Louisiana Rents) at their Monroe, Louisiana location. This role is responsible for servicing and inspecting Caterpillar and Non-Caterpillar rental equipment in the field, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring positive customer service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle history
Prior technical training of heavy machinery / equipment
Strong mechanical Aptitude
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Must own required tool inventory.
Strong customer service skills, mechanical aptitude, professional demeanor and always "safety-first" mentality every hour of every day

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on all components of heavy equipment including diesel engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes.
Perform inspections and general preventative maintenance on heavy and light construction rental equipment.
Use a company-provided truck enclosed with lube extraction and retraction necessities.
Promote positive customer service for Louisiana Cat Rental Stores according to Caterpillar and Louisiana Cat expectations.
