About The Position

NC Machinery is opening a new location in Bellingham, Washington, and is seeking an outgoing individual to join their team as a Rental Coordinator. This role is crucial for the launch of the new location and involves assisting customers with parts, service, equipment rental, and training needs, both in person and over the phone. A key aspect of this position is ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-up calls and by managing equipment delivery, pick-up, preventive maintenance, and repairs. The role also includes administrative duties such as completing paperwork, data entry, and inventory reconciliation. The Rental Coordinator will professionally represent the company through ongoing industry education, participation in meetings, collaboration with colleagues, maintaining a clean appearance, and effective communication. Adherence to strict safety standards and company values (Teamwork, Customer Focus, Commitment, Respect, Sense of Urgency, Integrity, and Safety) is essential.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at times.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with DBS.
  • Construction equipment knowledge.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with their parts, service, equipment rental, and training needs in person or over the phone.
  • Making follow-up calls to customers to ensure their rental equipment needs are met and address any questions or concerns.
  • Scheduling timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
  • Coordinating preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Completing appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Logging and inputting data.
  • Reconciling inventory assets.
  • Professionally representing the company by continuing industry education, attending required meetings, coordinating with member companies, departments, and fellow employees, maintaining cleanliness and proper attire, and communicating effectively.
  • Promoting and adhering to strict safety standards.
