About The Position

The Rental Coordinator is responsible for managing rental contracts, communicating with clients to establish accounts and verify insurance, and tracking rental costs. This role involves completing rental contracts, explaining policies, verifying credit, obtaining customer signatures and deposits, and ensuring all necessary paperwork for billing is submitted. The position also requires addressing after-hours, weekend, and holiday rental needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Computer skills required - Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with client to determine if an account has been established and if a certificate of insurance is on file.
  • Notes cost of rental, based on type of equipment, daily rates, insurance coverage’s, and amount of deposit required.
  • Completes rental contract, explains rental policies and procedure, verifies credit, and obtains customer signature and deposit.
  • Keeps track of costs for each PSD Rental job.
  • Ensures all necessary paperwork is turned in for appropriate billing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Respond and address after-hours, weekend, and holiday rental needs.
