About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Lot Attendant at JFK. Depending on the contractual need, this could be around an airport or rental car facility. This position is a good fit for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer, and veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience
- One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles within and/or between rental locations
- Inspect vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues
- Report incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- Drive small and large passenger vehicles (SUV’s, Van, Pickups, etc.)
- Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, compliance with proper safety standards
- Keep the lot clean, organized, and free of trash or debris.
- Park and arrange vehicles in designated areas.
- Oversee and maintain vehicle keys.
- Monitor and manage vehicle placement and inventory flow.
