About The Position

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Renewals Sales Support Representative position. This position is remote with a client based in the Austin, TX area (must live a commutable distance from the area in order to come onsite for occasional onsite meetings). The expected duration is 6+ month contract (potential of extensions). This is a highly administrative position supporting the renewals sales team through data entry, research, and preparation of client information. The team works primarily with existing clients who have previously purchased products or services from the company. In this role, you will research client purchasing history, identify potential future needs, and organize relevant information for the sales team to use when preparing for renewal and follow-up opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with large amounts of information, and enjoys research and administrative support work.

Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, research, sales support, customer support, or similar role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with data and researching information across multiple sources.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn internal systems and processes quickly.
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Austin and be able to attend occasional onsite meetings.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience supporting a sales team or working with customer/account information is a plus.

Responsibilities

Research existing client accounts and review historical purchasing information.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate client and purchasing data.
Review previous purchases to identify products, services, or solutions that may be relevant to the client's future needs.
Gather and organize information for the renewals sales team.
Prepare account information and research findings to help sales representatives with client outreach and renewal activities.
Research client information using internal systems and available resources.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is entered consistently and accurately.
Assist with identifying gaps, trends, or additional opportunities within existing client accounts.
Support the renewals team with various administrative and research-related tasks as needed.
Manage multiple accounts and assignments while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
