About The Position

The Rendering Utility supports daily production and operational continuity in the Rendering department at JBS USA’s Green Bay location. The role maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas; handles materials and waste; operates authorized equipment; assists across department areas; and provides break coverage after receiving required training. The position works from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and pays $22.90 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to perform frequent shoveling, lifting, pushing, pulling, and material handling.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
Ability to work in an industrial rendering environment with exposure to heat, odors, grease, noise, and varying weather conditions.
Ability to work around heavy equipment and follow established safety procedures at all times.

Nice To Haves

Experience with powered industrial equipment is preferred.
Waste management experience is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow plant safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
Remain aware of potential hazards while performing daily tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the Rendering department.
Frequently shovel and manually handle materials to support operations and maintain clean work areas.
Safely operate forklifts, Bobcats, and other authorized equipment to move materials, remove waste, and support production activities.
Assist different areas of the Rendering department as needed to support production requirements and operational continuity.
Provide break coverage for operators and other team members in assigned areas after receiving required training.
Promptly clean material spills, grease, and other residues to prevent slip hazards, maintain sanitation, and keep work areas safe.
Collect, handle, and dispose of waste and debris according to plant procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
