Rendering Flotation Opr - Dept. 751C
About The Position
Applicants will be considered for the rendering Flotation Operator. The flotation operator will operate the flotation equipment; monitor the equipment to ensure proper operation; observe flotation cells for air pressure and flow and make adjustments as needed; will monitor the equipment for product quality, run samples to ensure quality of the material; will communicate with management on a daily basis about the operation of the equipment; complete daily log sheets an keep the area showcase ready. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching are required. The Flotation Operator must be fluent in all areas of communication in order to articulate clearly to management the daily operation, to complete work orders, as necessary, and to complete the daily log sheets. These positions work in an extremely hot, humid environment and slippery surfaces.
Requirements

- Good attendance and work record
- Less than 5 attendance points at the time of this posting
- No disciplines greater than one written warning within the last 12 months
- Fluent in all areas of communication in order to articulate clearly to management the daily operation, to complete work orders, as necessary, and to complete the daily log sheets
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous or current rendering experience is a preferred with a focus on the flotation equipment
