About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The required on-site schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Shifts are eight hours with a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

• Available to work on-site Monday through Friday on the stated schedule.
• Able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Able to follow written directions and company policies.
• Highly organized.
• Detail-oriented.
• Customer-focused.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding their items.
• Provide a positive customer experience that encourages customers to continue bidding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups.
