About The Position

SAIC is hiring a full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to support air traffic controller training at the Denver TRACON (D01) in Denver, Colorado. This is not a UAS, UAV, RPV, or drone pilot position. The RPO acts as pilots and other controllers in an air traffic controller training simulator, operating a simulated radar display and voice communication system during medium- and high-fidelity training exercises. Candidates must complete classroom certification, including a test on airspace and procedures, and lab certification, which requires performing as an RPO on all positions. The role supports the FAA's air traffic controller training program, which prepares new controllers and provides recurrent training to current controllers.
