About The Position

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their service center team as a Remote Member Advisor. This position is designed to be fully remote (work from home) after the successful completion of training, which will take place at their onsite location in Waynesboro, Virginia. DCCU aims to help members achieve financial success by aligning them with the right products and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving others and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on professional and effective telephone skills to uphold quality standards while servicing both internal and external members.
  • High aptitude for detailed work and accuracy and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to individual, team and department goals while promoting a positive team environment to include remaining flexible and taking initiative.
  • Strong regard for confidential and sensitive information.
  • Previous retail-related service and sales experience.
  • Advanced computer skills and an ability to handle a high volume of work.
  • Strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain flexible and take initiative.
  • Required minimum home internet speed of 35 Mbps

  • Excellent communication skills to include both oral and written fluency in Spanish and English are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls and initiate member interactions including greeting members, assessing member needs, and following through on all member requests.
  • Own and be accountable for the entire member experience upon greeting the member.
  • Inspect and determine NADA values for all loans secured with a title.
  • Quote loan payoffs, loan rates, and terms to members.
  • Conduct new account and loan conversations and recommend to members, in detail, their GAP and Debt protection options when applicable.
  • Serve as liaison between member and the Underwriter.
  • Appropriately explain denials and counter offers. Ensure members are aware of their rights if an adverse loan decision is made.
  • Conduct research as needed to answer member concerns or questions.
  • Cross-sell appropriate credit union products and services to our members.
  • Process Skip-A-Pay and Loan Deferral Requests.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and tidy workstation.
  • Participate in required compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and Privacy.
