About The Position

AO is seeking motivated professionals to join our remote team as Life & Health Insurance Agents. In this role, you'll work virtually with individuals and families, helping them understand available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits and make informed decisions about protecting their financial future. Military experience develops many of the qualities that transfer well into this career: accountability, communication, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and service to others. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Be willing and able to obtain the required state insurance license
  • Be comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
  • Computer or laptop
  • Reliable high-speed internet

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled virtual consultations through Zoom and phone
  • Identify each client's needs and financial protection priorities
  • Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Answer questions clearly and professionally
  • Recommend coverage solutions based on individual client needs
  • Guide clients through applications and enrollment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after enrollment
  • Build trust through consistent and professional communication
  • Assist with applicable policy reviews and beneficiary updates
  • Provide ongoing client support
  • Maintain accurate follow-up and client documentation
  • Establish and work toward individual performance goals
  • Manage your schedule and responsibilities independently
  • Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate professionally with clients and teammates
