About The Position

AO – American Income Division of Globe Life is expanding its virtual team and seeking motivated, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join us as Remote Family Protection Advisors. In this role, you'll connect with working families, veterans, labor union members, credit union members, and eligible association members through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments. You'll help clients understand available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits, answer questions, identify coverage needs, provide appropriate recommendations once licensed, assist with electronic enrollment, and maintain long-term client relationships. This opportunity combines customer service, benefits education, relationship management, and consultative insurance sales. Whether you're entering the workforce, exploring a career change, or returning after time away, we provide structured training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. No previous insurance experience is required to apply.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be physically located within an eligible U.S. location.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a reliable computer or laptop.
Maintain dependable high-speed internet.
Have webcam and microphone capability.
Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace.
Be comfortable communicating through Zoom and phone.
Demonstrate professional communication skills.
Be willing to complete required training.
Be comfortable with consultative insurance sales.
Understand the commission-only compensation structure.
Hold or be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License.
Be able to complete applicable state licensing and background requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, banking, education, administration, call centers, military service, client relations, financial services, or sales may be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities

Connect With Clients Virtually: Contact prospective and existing clients using company-provided opportunities. Schedule and conduct Zoom and phone consultations. Build trust through professional, respectful communication. Ask questions to understand individual and family coverage needs. Listen to client concerns and answer questions. Maintain organized appointment and follow-up schedules.
Educate Families About Available Benefits: Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance products. Help clients understand coverage options and policy features. Discuss individual needs and financial-protection priorities. Provide appropriate recommendations once licensed. Guide eligible clients through electronic applications and enrollment. Review required documentation for completeness. Follow applicable state insurance regulations and company procedures.
Deliver Ongoing Customer Service: Follow up with clients throughout the enrollment process. Explain applicable next steps after enrollment. Respond professionally to policy-related questions. Assist with applicable policy reviews. Help clients navigate beneficiary information and policy-service requests. Direct clients to appropriate claims-support resources when needed. Maintain accurate digital client records. Build long-term relationships through consistent service.
Continue Developing Your Skills: Participate in virtual onboarding and training. Attend applicable coaching and team-development sessions. Strengthen communication and presentation skills. Learn digital enrollment and client-management systems. Develop consultative sales and relationship-building skills. Work toward individual performance and professional-development goals.
