About The Position
AO is expanding its virtual team and seeking motivated, service-oriented individuals to join us as Remote Client Support Representatives. In this role, you'll connect with new and existing clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments, answer questions, explain available benefits, assist with enrollment and policy needs, and provide ongoing support. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and continued professional development. This position combines customer service, relationship building, and consultative insurance sales, with an emphasis on education and helping families make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be physically located within the United States
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have access to a computer or laptop
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Be comfortable using Zoom and web-based technology
- Be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, administration, banking, military service, call centers, client relations, or sales can be helpful—but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Connect with clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments
- Serve as a professional point of contact for client questions
- Listen to each client's needs and provide clear, personalized guidance
- Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health benefit options
- Help clients understand coverage features and available choices
- Guide eligible clients through applications and enrollment
- Assist existing clients with policy reviews and beneficiary updates
- Provide ongoing customer and policy support
- Maintain accurate digital records and follow-up communication
- Build long-term relationships through trust, professionalism, and consistent service
