About The Position
We are a well-established handyman and remodeling company looking to hire a reliable, experienced Estimator/Sales Representative. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of home repair and remodeling, is confident meeting clients in the field, and knows how to close deals. This is not an entry-level position. We need a serious professional who understands the industry and can represent our company with integrity and confidence. Handyman On Call is a Baltimore based construction company. In the past 21 years, we have established a reputation of reasonably priced, timely and outstanding handyman services. We have accomplished hundreds of remodeling, renovation and building projects throughout Maryland and have proudly earned our customers’ respect with each job. Through many years of experience, we have developed great expertise when it comes to renovating investment and residential properties. Our skilled handyman team in Maryland has the experience to handle the entire construction project – either it is a small repair around the house or a construction of a new one.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in estimating, sales, or construction field
- Strong knowledge of home improvement services (kitchens, bathrooms, general repairs, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and attitude
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to assess repair/remodeling needs
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for handyman and renovation projects
- Clearly explain scope of work and pricing to clients
- Follow up with leads and close jobs
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure successful job execution
