About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a full-time Travel Fixture Installer for its Travel Remodel Team. The role is based in the Midwest, with hiring in St. Louis, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The installer travels weekly with a remodel crew to transform home improvement stores through fixture installations, department resets, and large-scale remodels. New hires will initially fly to West Coast projects for approximately three months; airfare, hotels, and per diem are paid. Afterward, assignments move to Midwest projects closer to home. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding, hands-on role involving teamwork and overnight project schedules. Pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with W-2 employment and biweekly pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Provide proof of a valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for travel.
Be available to travel weekly throughout the assigned region and surrounding states.
Have basic hand tools, including work gloves, screwdrivers, a cordless drill, mallet, pry bar, and adjustable wrench.
Have strong mechanical skills and the ability to safely use hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, tape measures, and box cutters.
Have technical skills to use a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and in-store reporting.
Have strong attention to detail and be able to work with a team or independently.
Be comfortable with fast-paced remodel environments and overnight project schedules.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders throughout overnight shifts.
Be able to regularly lift, move, and handle steel, lumber, products, fixtures, and project materials weighing up to 50+ pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Forklift or OSHA certification; not required, and training is provided.
Experience in retail remodels, fixture installation, carpentry, warehousing, or heavy-duty merchandising.

Responsibilities

Execute large-scale retail remodels and store resets.
Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
Support department teardowns, rebuilds, and merchandising projects.
Set products, signage, and displays according to planograms and project specifications.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts; training is provided.
Work with teammates, project leaders, and store management to complete projects on schedule.
Complete in-store reporting on a handheld device or smartphone.
Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards and keep the work area clean and safe.
