About The Position

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Driver to transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations. The Driver may also deliver customers, employees, or vendors to appropriate destinations, providing safe, timely, courteous, and professional service. The role is based at 701 N Eastern Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36117, and pays $11.00 per hour. The available schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands. Its services include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license, with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
More than one excessive speeding violation, defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit, on the driving record within the past three years disqualifies candidates from consideration.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed while following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
