About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Driver for its Enterprise brand. The Driver transports vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position is located at 2614–A HWY 31, Decatur, AL 35601, and pays $11.00 per hour. The available schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday are off. The Driver transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations and navigates written directions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Candidates with more than one excessive speeding violation—defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit—on their driving record within the last three years will be disqualified from consideration.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
Clean vehicles as requested.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
