About The Position

The Remanufacturing Technician performs basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts; identifies serviceable and non-serviceable parts; and operates semi-automatic equipment. The role follows quality and safety requirements and uses tools and equipment safely. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties may also include other job-related instructions or tasks requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of related experience.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
• Ability to complete disassembly without destroying parts.
• Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Communication proficiency.
• Organizational skills.
• Time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, wash, and assemble parts.
• Identify serviceable and non-serviceable parts.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment, including pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, and ultrasonic washers.
• Handle parts and tools safely and use power and manual tools properly.
• Comply with quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties requested by the supervisor.
