About The Position

Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Remanufacturing Technician I based out of our Winter Haven location. We’re currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM. As a Remanufacturing Technician I, you will work as part of a team responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, preparation, and reassembly of vending machines, coolers, parts and ancillary equipment. This role involves using various tools and techniques to ensure equipment is prepared for the next steps in the remanufacturing process. Techs can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and may also rotate through all or most of the process rather than being assigned a specific task.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools, including tape measures and rivet guns.
  • Strong hand‑eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective quality management and technical skills.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to utilize all company‑provided resources and technology.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment as required by the position and comply with safety policies.
  • Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting associates and company assets.
  • Regular and prompt attendance as an essential job function
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety policies

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed safety measures and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals.
  • Disassemble coolers and vending machines using power, hand, and air tools.
  • Visually inspect to ensure equipment is ready for the next phase of production.
  • Replace headers and decals as needed.
  • Remove parts such as lightbulbs, shelf clips, shelves, door gaskets and grills.
  • Disassembling, washing, masking and prepping equipment and parts for production.
  • Apply metal or plastic side panels using correct tools. Accurate measuring and cutting for precise fit.
