The Religious Education Coordinator & Youth Minister is responsible for coordinating and administering parish religious education programs, including sacramental preparation for children (e.g., First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion). The coordinator is responsible for the direction of the Pre-K through Youth faith formation. This role supports catechists and volunteers, ensures effective program delivery, and maintains program operations in alignment with diocesan standards. In parishes without a Parish Catechetical Leader, the Coordinator works directly with the Pastor to support the parish’s faith formation efforts. The coordinator is not authorized to teach catechist certification courses in theology. The Diocese of Orlando four core values lay the foundation for the work performed by employee.
