About The Position
Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is seeking a Relief Veterinarian to join their team. This is an emergency and critical care clinic for small animals and some exotic pets, offering services such as laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork, and emergency surgeries. The clinic is privately owned and aims to provide state-of-the-art care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license.
- Compassionate, team player, and strong communicator.
- Experienced in Emergency Medicine.
Nice To Haves
- Current DEA License.
- USDA Accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and critical care for small animals and some exotic pets.
- Work Wednesday and Thursday overnights (6PM-8AM or 4PM to Midnight).
- Work Saturday and Sunday day shifts (8AM-6PM).
