26-1652 Relief Van Driver AMHS/Charter House
About The Position
CMHA-CEI is a Michigan Certified Bronze Level Veteran Friendly Employer and we encourage active military service members, veterans, and their family members to apply. Under the general supervision of Charter House Coordinator, this role operates a van to pick up program participants and deliver them to the program site, and returns them to their homes upon completion of daily activity. The driver also takes participants to special activities at the direction of the supervisor/facilitator. This position is responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Possession of a High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- A minimum of three months work experience with driving responsibilities is required.
- Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
- Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job-related use is required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Operates a van, picking up program participants and delivering them to the program site and returning them to their homes upon completion of daily activity.
- Takes participants to special activities at the direction of the supervisor/facilitator.
